What We Use


Manuka Honey Extract (Methylglyoxal/Mel)

Sugar-free, tasteless compound extracted from manuka honey. Has antibacterial and wound-healing properties. High in beneficial antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, amino acids, and phytonutrients.

Beeswax (Cera Alba)

Wax produced by honey bees. Moisturises and protects skin against dryness and irritation. Used as a natural emulsifier and preservative.


Goat's Milk

Milk produced by goats. Rich in skin-nourishing alpha hydroxy acids, vitamin A, and selenium. Has soothing and moisturising properties.


Aloe Leaf Extract (Aloe Barbadensis)

Herbal-scented extract of aloe vera leaves. Rich in enzymes, antioxidants, and vitamins A and C. Anti-inflammatory and skin-moisturizing.

Apricot Kernel Oil (Prunus Armeniaca)

Nutty-scented oil pressed from apricot kernels. High in vitamins A, C and E, and in omega fatty acids. Hydrates and moisturises both skin and hair.

Avocado Oil (Persea Gratissima)

Clear, buttery oil extracted from avocado fruit. Contains a wide range of essential fatty acids, vitamins, and antioxidant polyphenols.

Chamomile Oil (Matricaria Chamomilla)

Sweet-smelling oil extracted from chamomile flowers. Has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Used to gently promote relaxation and sleep.

Castor Seed Oil (Ricinus Communis)

Clear pale oil pressed from castor beans. Contains bacteria-inhibiting ricinoleic acid. Hydrates and moisturises both skin and hair.

Citric Acid

Weak organic acid derived from citrus fruits. Classified as part of the alpha hydroxy group of acids, with skin-replenishing properties.


Organic compound derived from plants. Antimicrobial, antiviral, and anti-inflammatory. Promotes wound healing. Highly moisturising and nourishing to skin.

Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride

Organic compound derived from guar gum. Moisturising and conditioning on both hair and skin.

Lavender Oil (Lavandula Angustifolia)

Aromatic essential oil distilled from lavender flowers. Known for its calming, muscle-relaxing, and moisturising properties.

Jojoba Seed Oil (Simmondsia Chinensis)

Colorless oil extracted from jojoba seeds, with anti-inflammatory properties. Rich in oleic acid, palmitic acid, and other skin-replenishing fatty acids.

Rosehip Fruit Oil (Rosa Canina)

Woody-scented oil pressed from the fruit of wild roses. Contains beta-Carotene. Prevents and treats eczema, acne, rashes, and other skin conditions.

Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii)

Fat extracted from African shea nuts. Contains antioxidant, antibacterial, and antifungal properties. Highly moisturising.

Soybean Oil (Glycine Soja)

Odourless oil extracted from soybeans. Rich in vitamin E and skin-nourishing fatty acids. Protects skin against inflammation and dryness.

Spearmint Oil (Mentha Spicata)

Aromatic, sugar-free oil extracted from spearmint leaves. Used as a natural flavouring for toothpaste.

Sweet Almond Oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis)

Nutty-scented oil pressed from almond seeds. Naturally moisturising and high in nutrients including Vitamin E, magnesium and manganese.

Tocopheryl Acetate

Organic compound derived from acetic acid and α-Tocopherol, a type of vitamin E. Has moisturising, conditioning, and antioxidant properties.

Wheat Germ Oil (Triticum Vulgare)

Clear yellow oil extracted from the germ of wheat kernels. High in vitamin E, vitamin B6, folic acid, and alpha-linolenic acid.

Zinc Oxide

Inorganic compound derived from the mineral zinc. Naturally anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and non-irritating. Used to treat skin dryness and rashes. 


Odourless, colourless oxide derived from the element silicon. Used as a gentle cleanser. 


Benzyl Alcohol

Floral-scented organic alcohol derived from plants. Used as a preservative.

Cellulose Gum (Carboxymethyl Cellulose)

Odourless gum extracted from the cellulose of plants. Used as a thickener.

Cetearyl Alcohol

Skin-friendly "fatty" alcohol derived from plants. Used as an emulsifier and stabiliser.

Cetearyl Wheat Straw Glycosides

Organic compound derived from the reaction of wheat straw with cetearyl alcohol. Used as an emulsifier.

Dehydroacetic Acid

Odourless organic compound derived from pyrones. Used as a preservative.

Lauryl Glucoside

Organic compound naturally derived from coconut oil and corn glucose. Used as a foaming agent.

Palm Kernel Acid

Fatty acid naturally derived from palm kernel oil. Used as an emulsifier and foaming agent.

Polyglyceryl-2 Dipolyhydroxystearate

Organic compound naturally derived from plants. Used as an emulsifier.

Potassium Sorbate

Salt derived from sorbic acid. Used as a preservative. 

Sodium Chloride

More commonly known as common table salt. Used as a thickener and binding agent.

Sodium Coco-Sulfate

Organic compound derived from coconut oil. Used as a foaming and cleansing agent.

Sodium Palmate

Salt derived from palm oil. Used as an emulsifier and foaming agent.

Sodium Palm Kernelate

Salt derived from palm kernel oil. Used as an emulsifier and foaming agent.


Sugar alcohol derived from glucose. Used as a flavouring.

Tetrasodium Etidronate

Salt derived from ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid. Used as a stabiliser and preservative. 

What We Leave Out

Animal Cruelty

None of our products are tested on animals. The bee by-products and goat's milk we use are sourced from ethical beekeepers and farmers.

Artificial Colours and Fragrances

Any of the countless types of synthetic dyes and scents that are commonly added to personal care products. Many carry risks of allergic reaction, hypersensitivity, disruption of internal organs and systems, and carcinogenic effects.

Ethylenediamine Tetraacetic Acids (EDTAs)

Salts derived from ethylenediamine, formaldehyde, and cyanide. Used in many personal care products as preservatives, stabilisers, and foaming agents. Can disrupt kidney and liver functions. Can lower levels of calcium, magnesium, and potassium. 

GMO Ingredients

Any ingredient that has been genetically modified. Can cause organ damage, allergic reactions, and other harmful effects. Damaging to the environment.


Microspheres of non-dissolvable plastic. Commonly used in personal care products as exfoliants and activators. A major cause of plastic particle water pollution.


Ester formed from methoxycinnamic acid and 2-ethylhexanol. Used as a UVB ray blocker in many sunscreens. Shown to be toxic to mice and may cause cellular DNA damage in humans.


Benzophenone compound derived from benzoyl chloride and 3-methoxyphenol. Used as broad spectrum UV ray blocker in many sunscreens. Shown to disrupt endocrine function. Can cause photo allergic reaction in some people.


Synthetic compounds used as preservatives in many skin, hair, and cosmetics products. Known to disrupt hormone function. Possibly carcinogenic, though this has yet to be conclusively proven. 


Chemicals derived from petroleum. Commonly used in skincare products as moisturisers, emulsifiers, dyes, fragrances, and preservatives. Often contiminated with 1,4-dioxane, which is known to disrupt kidney and brain functions, and potentially increase cancer risk.

Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS)

Salt derived from petroleum oil. Used as a foaming and lathering agent in many personal care products. Can cause skin irritation and inflammation.
